    • Downstream USB 3.0 cable port (Standard A-type Receptacle) lock mechanism
  • Provides multiple modes of charging to meet the following specifications:
    • USB Battery Charging Specification BC1.2
    • Chinese Telecommunications Industry Standard YD/T 1591-2009
    • Divider Modes 2.0V/2.7V and 2.7V/2.0V compliant with 1A and 2A Apple mobile digital devices such as iPod®, iPhone® (1A) and iPad® (2A)
    • Galaxy Tab Charging Mode (U3H416 Rev. 1.1)
  • CDP/SDP Auto Switch (U3H416 Rev. 1.1)
    • Some popular phone models are not compliant to the BC1.2 specification and fail to establish a data connection.
      • These phones use primary detection to only identify ports as SDP (data / no charge) or DCP (no data / charge). They do not recognize CDP (data /charge) ports.
      • When connected to a CDP port, these phones classify the port as a DCP and will only charge. Since charging ports are configured as CDP when the computer is in S0, users do not get the expected data connection.
  • Automatic Selection of D+/D- Mode for an Attached Device
